I miss my PSP_

Nostalgia for Sony's revolutionary handheld gaming device

I remember getting my PSP-1001 back in 2012—the classic fat model that quickly became my trusty companion. Even though it was already seven years old by then, it didn't take long for it to shape my gaming adventures.

I can still recall the countless hours I spent immersed in Monster Freedom 2 Unite—over 100 intense hours of gameplay that left me both challenged and thrilled. The immersive worlds and fast-paced action became a hallmark of my gaming sessions.

Some of the fondest memories were made during LAN play at my cousin's place, where multiplayer matches turned ordinary days into epic gaming marathons. There was something truly special about gathering around, competing, and laughing together.

I also enjoyed dabbling in GBA emulation on the PSP, experiencing the magic of retro classics in a portable format. It provided a unique way of revisiting old favorites and discovering new ones.

Over time, my reliable PSP started showing signs of wear—most notably, its battery began to lose its charge faster than before. Despite the eventual problems with the battery, the memories it helped create remain unforgettable.

Recently, I came across a few YouTube videos that brought all these memories flooding back. Watching them reminded me of the good times I had with my PSP and how it was more than just a gaming device—it was a gateway to some of the best moments of my youth.
