Despite the plethora of established code editors, Zed offers a refreshing approach with its modern interface and lightning-fast performance. It stands out by focusing on a seamless user experience that enhances productivity.
And it's written in Rust. Enough said.
Seriously though, it's a great editor. I've been using it for a few months now and I'm still learning new things. I really like how they have native support for VIM mode. Well many other editors do that too, but Zed takes a bit more creative liberty in all the right places.
While I like Cursor, I just hate to have another Electron app running on my machine.
